Texas Hold’em is the world’s most-played poker game and the obvious choice for clients who want a competitive structure, a corporate team event, a stag or hen poker night, a charity tournament. We hire out full-size, professional poker tables with experienced dealers who can run a friendly cash-table format or a full tournament with blinds and elimination rounds. New to it? Your dealer teaches as you go, and it’s all fun money, the only thing at stake is bragging rights.

How It Plays
Each player is dealt two private cards. Five community cards are dealt face up over three rounds, the flop, the turn, and the river, with a round of play after each. Players combine their two private cards with the community cards to make the best five-card hand. The winner takes the pot. Hand rankings follow standard poker: from high card up to royal flush.
For events, we typically run either a cash-table format (guests sit down, play casually, swap seats) or a tournament (set buy-in of fun money, blinds increase on a timer, last player standing wins).

Specifications
Our poker table is a full-size, casino-grade Texas Hold’em table, 245cm by 118cm and 80cm tall, with seats for ten players: a proper final table, whether you’re running a tournament or a casual cash game that turns over all evening. Poker players like elbow room and somewhere to stack their chips, so allow a clear space of about 395cm by 268cm and the game breathes. The table fits through a standard domestic doorway and is happy indoors or outdoors.

Top Tips for Guests
- You only need your two cards, combine them with the five shared cards to make your best five-card hand.
- You don’t have to play every hand. Folding and watching a round is part of the game, not a sign you’re losing.
- For a corporate night, a tournament with fun-money buy-ins gets every team competitive fast.

FAQs
Can you run a poker tournament for a corporate event?
Yes. This is one of our most-requested formats. We bring the tables, dealers, chips and a structured blind schedule. Buy-in is in fun money (no real money is wagered), and we can supply a prize structure on request. Typical tournament evenings run 3 to 4 hours.
How many guests does one poker table seat?
Ten players seated, with others watching or waiting to sub in. For a tournament with 20 to 30 entrants, we’d suggest two tables consolidating to a final table as players are eliminated.
What’s the difference between a dealer and a croupier?
Functionally none, both run the table for the session. The poker world tends to use “dealer” while general casino games use “croupier.” Our staff are trained on both and dressed identically.
